In April 2025, I went on a ten days family trip near Combloux, in the French Alps. This collection is a selection of 24 paintings, out of the 30 or so, that were painted on location. All of them were painted from life, some in plein air, but most in..doors : the rented house we stayed in offered amazing views of the mountains surrounding the valley, and I took advantage it to paint early in the day and later in the evenings. It pushed me to paint more than I probably would have otherwise. It was a very nice experience, painting from morning to evening, trying my best to record the moments and the colours from such amazing sceneries.
